I really like juice Johnson and believe he will have a great year. I also believe he has the ability to play at the next level.

It sounds like Juice is ready to step into a leadership roll. I think he becomes a stalwart in the offense and will be a great roll model for the younger receivers to follow.

The offense was soo mismanaged last year it just makes me mad to think about the squandered opportunities last year. Water under the bridge, but hats off to Stoops for realizing his mistake and fixing it quickly. Even the best coaches make mistakes. The really good ones recognize their mistake and deal with it head on.

If we can just get good, solid fundamental play from Barker at QB, these receivers will do the rest. This is their year. Make the easy plays look easy.

Was it Juice and McClain that would practice together to get better last year? Juice seems dedicated to excellence. Good link. Thanks.

Garrett has made some incredible catches in his short career.
Isn't he from Florida it would be nice if he could take it to the house a few times in our first victory over Florida this Century.. I am a fan so I can look ahead we certainly want a victory in the first game..

If he plays every game like he does against Florida he can be All SEC. Really like him and hope he can stay healthy and be a consistent weapon in this offense.

Yes. And he's made some easy drops.
I don't recall Juice having a bunch of drops...he's had some but given the amount of balls coming his way...his percentage of drops vs. attempts has to be among lowest on team.

Now Dorian Baker is quite the opposite. At times, Badet struggling catching the ball as well but many of his attempts were long balls. And outside of Baker, Juice and Badet...nobody else got many balls their way.

These are fair, reasonable comments. But I don't think this is their year. To get to 6 wins, we probably have to win 6 out of our 7 home games. Some people think we can beat Florida, Missouri, or Louisville on the road, but I think that is a pipe dream. If this is a bowl year, I believe it has to happen at home in Commonwealth Stadium. This is a transitional year for our offense, with a new coordinator, new quarterback, new tackles. Drew Barker will have to be solid. If he isn't, it won't take long for Coach Gran to turn to Steve Johnson. The receivers are the strength of our offense. Juice, Baker, Badet, Bone, Walker, Timmons are back. But I see the incoming receivers, Ross, Greenwood, Richardson, and the tight ends as the keys to improvement in our passing game.
