Garrett Riley a HC candidate at CCU?

Per the Clemson folks. Seems like a step down to me, particularly for a guy who was on the fast track to be an FBS head coach a few years ago. Presumably, his gig at Clemson was going to be a brief layover to revive their offense before he took P4 HC job.

I had heard the "he's been encouraged to move on" thing. Get another job so you don't have to be fired.

Well, Clemson folks were hoping for an easy out with Riley landing at CCU, but they went with Beard from Missouri State instead. Looks like they may be forced to fire him if they want get an OC quick.
