Did he miss the Fg? Drop passes? Fumble? Ha I beat the normal attackers to it

Man, this is like Clemson back in the early 2000s, choking games away by missing easy FGs.

Told my brother who is a Clemson fan before the season started that I missed the days when you could count on Clemson blowing a game against Wake or GT by missing easy FGs.

Honestly, I thought Clemson was a better team than FSU - 2 plays resulted in the FSU win - i.e. the blind hit on the CU QB which lead to a fumble and FSU TD and then missing that easy FG. And FSU is the same team that decimated LSU.

I think the quarterback changed the play call. Bad decision.
According to dabo it is as a run/pass option. Stated they shouldn’t have given him that choice. Well no crap. Sounds smart to give your basically freshman experience qb, the option in a high stress situation.

And if there’s 1 play that sums up the curious state of Clemson’s offense after 4 games under wunderkind Garrett Riley, it was his, ahem, strange play-call on 3rd-and-1, down 7, in overtime Saturday against FSU.

Keep in mind, after Cade Klubnik misfired on 1st down, Will Shipley bailed out the Tigers with a physical 9-yard run to set up the 3rd-and-1.
Sizzle? Fizzle.
Instead of putting the ball back in the belly of your best player and moving the chains, Riley went razzle dazzle.
Garrett Riley calls this play on 3rd &1 in OT ???? What a joke #CFB2023 #FSUvsCLEM pic.twitter.com/VItSmCTBVj

I don’t think FSU is the same as they were in the LSU game. Their QB is definitely playing hurt now

It is also the same team that should have lost to a terrible BC team.
