Seems like he was a candidate when LT hired Croom. Jimbo Fisher(was bringing Muschamp as DC), Charlie Strong, Randy Shannon were the others. I really don’t think LT could have made a worse choice out of those.

Seems he was contacted and in effect indicated that the State job would be a downgrade from TCU and wasn't interested.

Strick will want Leach if he wins.

Would be interesting if that situation truly ever became available. That might be the one job I could see Leach leave for at his age, and man, Stricklands really would get death threats at that point. And with good reason, the main reason many people are alright with the Leach experiment is because we know it's going to be a relatively long term thing (as much as it can be in modern college football), at least 5+ years.

I guess maybe Miami too. All about proximity to Key West, and talent available to run the Air Raid. Florida and Miami is tops when it comes to that.
