I mean to me wondering about gas prices where you don’t live is an exercise in futility and a waste of time. You could Google it but I guess whatever interests you have are just fine. I just don’t get it.

HOW MYCH ARE EGGGS WHERE U LIVE???? THEY DUN GON WAY UP OVAH HERRR!!!!

what made no sense to me. I live in the Louisville Metro, so I'm aware that gas is a bit higher here because of the "special formula" gas. I went home to Owensboro for Christmas. When I left Louisville it was $3.09, and once I got out on 64 it was pretty much $2.99 the whole way. Then I got on 231 and crossed the bridge into Kentucky. First gas station I saw was was $2.37. Then as soon as I got to 54 it was back up to $2.99. Then I went to Old Hickory and Kroger to get some stuff for my parents, and gas went from $2.79 to $2.99 all within a few blocks of each other.

Filled up at $2.72 in Kingsport TN yesterday. I don't know what the price is back home in Florida, but I wouldn't care if it was $4 a gallon if I could leave this cold, damp Hellscape in TN. We normally come back at Thanksgiving and stay through Christmas. This year, my mother in-law was scheduled to have heart valve surgery on 12/28, but they didn't like her blood and kidney count, so they postponed it. Now her numbers are where they want them, but they're dragging their feet on scheduling her. To top it off, out of the blue yesterday, our dog lost the use of his front legs. The vet gave him a steroid shot and a prescription. So far he's not responding much and I'm afraid this may be the end of the line for him.

Same here in Kingsport. You can see as much as a 30+ cents swing in prices in stations that are only a few miles apart and some owned by the same company.

Filled up for $2.94 at the Food City in Kingsport, TN yesterday. My MIL finally got her heart surgery last week and is doing well. Hopefully if she's still doing good in a couple of weeks we can head back home to Florida. I've had enough of this cold, damp hellscape.

$2.99 out here in bullitt county. I like letting those kroger points build up and get it cheaper. Gad is cheaper now because we are tapping into our reserves. A few weeks ago I read where reserves were the lowest in 40 years. What's gonna happen when we completely deplete that? I have never seen so many V8s for sale as I do now. Buttplug said every decision they make is a climate decision. Piss on these clowns running this once great Nation into the ground!

Costco Florence still stuck at $2.99.
Many Kroger's closer to downtown up to $3.45.
OH gas prices at or slightly lower than NKY.

We left Kingsport to come home to Florida on March 1st. It was $2.82 in Kingsport and $3.13 when we got home with prices in SC and GA varying between those two. When spring break started, the prices here shot up to $3.49 or more. Yesterday I filled up here in Fort Pierce at $3.23 after spending the day fishing canals in West Palm Beach and Delray, where it was $3.59 a gallon. Our daughter said she filled up in Kingsport at $2.97, but used her Food City discount to get it for $2.82.

Speaking of discounts, now through May 10th (IIRC), if you buy at Wawa and use the app, you get a 15 cent(s) discount. If you have a Sam's Club Mastercard and link that as your Wawa app payment, it gives you 5% cash back off your total.

Left East TN last Thursday and it was $2.92 at Food City with your FC card. On the way home to Florida, it ranged from $3.07 to $3.19 Filled up at the Wawa when we got home for $3.48 using the app and an additional 5% back on the Sam's Master card. Gas got really high down here due to the flooding 2-3 weeks ago. It had been $3.79 but is "down" to $3.53 for now.

When I was flying out of Raleigh on Sunday, I saw that Sheetz had dropped their 88-octane gas to $1.99. They did that last Thanksgiving for 1-week.
I'm hoping it's still that low when I get back Friday.

$3.47 at Rocket in The Fort today. $3.53 at the Wawa, but can get it for $3.38 using the app. That 15 cent(s) off ends Sunday though.

Filled up at Florence Costco yesterday for $3.19 and of course it's $3.12 today. Bellevue Kroger has dropped to $3.33 as oil is crashing again going from $83 a barrel to $67 in 3 weeks.

Oh just $3.499? Awesome, we’re making such good progress.

God, jameslee you’re probably a really good dude but you come off like such a POS, nerd, that hasn’t been in the real world for very long on the internet. At least I come off as a womanizing, gym douchebag. I’ll take it over your “persona” all touching day.

Never really noticed this thread - but I filled up gas today as we were driving home from the in laws out of state so I filled up a full tank. I have absolutely no clue what it cost.
I don’t even look either because you’re going to pay it or drive ten minutes to think you saved a dollar. It’s silly.

The Cold Spring price war is back! Tiger Oil is at $3.05 which is .58 cents a gallon cheaper than the Kroger near me in Newport. The Kroger in Cold Spring is much closer at $3.17.
The war is over? Cold Spring Kroger is waving the white flag and back to $3.59, on a day oil is up over 1%.

Filled up in Louisville this past Thursday. My ride takes premium. $4.49/gallon.

These stories are WILD! Definitely driving to the Cold Spring Kroger to get gas not the place right by my house that’s most convenient. Happy you all drove ten minutes to save .90 cents 👏.

OH gas prices are cheaper than in NKY pretty much across the board. Costco in Mason was $3.15 yesterday. Kroger near Fields Ertel is $3.19. Nice if headed to Kings Island.
