Assumed this thread devolved into political garbage seeing as how it’s so many pages - but nope, it’s just a bunch of old guys listing prices of gas over and over again 😂. Absolutely cracks me up as both my father and FIL nonstop talk about either gas prices or property taxes anytime I’m around them. I guess at some point a switch goes off in our brains and the price of gas becomes a topic of interest
My FIL used to call family members to see if they wanted to meet him at the Kroger gas station in case he still had some gallons left over on whatever discount he was using. No one took him up on it so he bought gas cans to take with him. There’s no way he ever paid off those cans.

Tiger Oil in Cold Spring down to $2.52 but the Gas Buddy guy keeps saying nationwide, gasoline has bottomed for now. The Red Sea tanker attacks have something to do with this. Figure out who benefits the most from higher oil prices and you have the right source. Follow the money.

……..Yemen's Iran-backed Houthi rebels are responsible for these attacks. Need to bait these folks into attacking and sending them to the spirit world.

In my neck of the woods, gas went from the $2.50's before Christmas to around the $2.90's closer to the holidays and immediately back down to the $2.60's today with Kroger Newport leading the way at $2.63. Normally this is the highest priced gas station.

Oil is threatening to fall below $70 again as well with the US breaking production records.

Got back home to Florida a little over two weeks ago. It was $2.87 when we got here, then ballooned to $3.25 about 3 days later. Today, it's back to $2.89 at the Rocket on US-1 in Fort Pierce.

Many stations still under $2.70 here in NKY with Costco Florence at $2.56 yesterday.
Weird but don't see any in OH under $2.70.

$3.59 here. Sure feels like we're on a runaway train and the tracks cut out about a mile up the road..

Recently saw that a friend posted online that gas was 20 cents a gallon cheaper in a nearby town that is about 15 miles away. Several people commented that they appreciated the heads up and were on their way to top off their tanks and take advantage of the savings.

Seems that no one bothered to think it through.

Louisville, I believe, is still required to sell reformulated gas, whereas that is not required in more rural counties. That does drive the price up.

This has always made me laugh. Gonna drive 40 miles round trip to save 20 cents a gallon. Assuming a 16-gallon tank, that’s $3.20 in savings and at least $4 in gas to drive to the other town and back.

A station in the town I used to live in would take 10 cents a gallon off on Thursdays. Fools would line up around the block to save $1.60. I’ve been poor, but not that damn poor. Lol.

Not just Louisville but most of the surrounding areas. I will drive 15 miles south to get .15 off when I'm filling all my lawn equipment tanks. It's worth the drive.

Getting the Mt Washington gas? It's usually that much cheaper than Louisville gas. Need to tell our Daughter to get her own danged Kroger card, lol! Everytime I think wr have $1 off it's only like $.30. I equate that to all the times she would leave a few chips or cereal nuggs or spritz of milk when she was living with us. Just go ahead and take it all because what you're leaving us is nothing 🤣

$2.39 yesterday.

There’s one particular gas station in the hood, and fits every stereotype imaginable, that’s a solid 40+ cents cheaper than anyone else in town. Might be 50% water for all I know, but I filled up.

The new BJs at JMall has a sign for 2.20.
I am not a member so I don't know the specifics of the offer.
