The fullback will likely avg 25 plus carries per game this year and if stays healthy plays all games will be close to 2k.
He is like a qb in air raid….lots of chances.
He will have to carry it 25 times a game because the mesh read is not there at QB this year.
QB ain't a problem anywhere on that field. He is good at that position like a lot of other places on the field. The option this year isn't nearly as slow as it's been (reading or keeping part). Slow veer is laughable to good defenses. Takes away all the impact of it. 12 gone be fine. From what I've seen he has been a great teammate giving and pitching when he's taken away. Don't see that much out of SP qbs the last quarter century.
Tough to replace the heart and soul of the team that was a 4 year starter, but starting off 4-0 is really impressive. Like you said it is nice to have that hammer at FB. Good luck this Friday, should be a good game.
I get it...since the FB has had success at SP and he played his freshman year at SC then SP couldn't do it without him?
Quick update; If he would have stayed, he would have been way more successful at SC because SP does not play teams that collapse in a puddle of their own tears while carrying the ball and also they play in a league and non conf. foes where the defenders do not feign temporary blindness and run directly away from the ballcarrier trying to score. That kid would probably be a 3,000 yard rusher at Stuart Cramer the last year or two.... if he played RB.
Wow, you prove my point daily. I say nice things about SP as I always do and you turn it around on Cramer everyday, yesterday, today, tomorrow. Please get us out of your head man. It is sad that a guy just lays around and tries to keep Cramer down all day. Hey man quit thinking about Cramer all the time. Just embrace your success this year, which I didn’t think you would have losing the heart and soul of your team #5, but SP has proved me wrong. Keep churning out those wins giving it to the FB 35-40 times a game. Very impressive.

Talking about a team over and over is just hype. Obviously ya'll have never proved it on the field.
Never said he wasn't talented or wasn't fast. But the mesh read is not where it has been in previous years which I think will result in more FB carries. See TC game. TC controlled the box and there were very few pulls in the mesh in that game.

This is a Gaston County thread so I don’t see a problem posting on it. If you are talking about the CC thread (where you spend most of your time) I just enjoy those guys. Best football and in the state and best thread on this board. I don’t promote Cramer on there. I do respond when you or that mangy mutt Rockshow talk bad about them. Or respond when the CC guys talk positively about Cramer. It’s a message board guy, it means nothing. Yes tcr took the first two options away, and were fast enough doing it so sp would be fine taking the 3-4 yard, consistent and boring gain. sp controlled and so did the QB.
Yeah, that's because I created a thread for Gaston County. You SP folks have gotten soft, since the mill families left and the Yankees and yuppies moved in you've started bowing down to just about everybody, but Cramer. Hell the Cleveland County thread has went for years and I waited for years for one of you Belmont Boys do something where Gaston County ball could be discussed, but alas you just sat there.
Lets be honest when it gets to the QB position at SP. There is plenty of SP faithful who were not Blee fans, they felt like he should be at QB. I talked to many who said, "If Mickey was running the offense...." Pless was going to good no matter where he was at, recruiting may be a little more difficult for him over there, but if you're good they find you.

Yeah Imagine if Gaston County only had 5 schools ..and most talent went to SP and Ashbrook...I guess we'll throw in SC since they have a few posters in here....
