Yeah DeBoer told me to tell you... Mt.Holly wishes it had a Slide.... the only Slide they have is at McDonald's.
You definitely got your comedic chops from Deboer with a joke like that.
That's what he said. I would've added a few details though... smells like pee, one community pacifier for Cramer fans to take turns with, sticky floors, dried-up ketchup on the walls, and a plastic tunnel where Cramer fans can crawl through and pretend they're entering a championship stadium. ...They even got a timeout corner for when somebody mentions South Point/DaddyDeBoer... And don't forget the Happy Meal toys. That's the closest thing Cramer fans have ever had to a trophy collection.... but hey I hope yall get one this year!

Trust me man, 8 years ago when me and my son were still going to SP games every Friday I never thought I would ever be pulling for SC, but things change. I am passionate about the good things that are happening and especially this senior class. I have been watching them since 7th grade play multiple sports together. We will see how this year shakes out and hopefully you can hide all the SP pride and pull for your nephew to make a run.

I was told the Slide got its name from what happened to a dirt road when it rained. I also heard that if you got into trouble on the mill hill, you were evicted and to the slide you went.

Best single play I have seen this year is running a 85 yard rush down from behind to strip a fumble at the one...and he may have also recovered. Unbelievable play. Hustle, talent/speed and biggest thing of all - Heart. That boy nice!!
I tell you - if ashbrook (lower a on purpose) had any semblance of an offense, an offensive strategy, or just a commitment to 5-6 proven, basic plays that work by football teams (that are not made up in the sand by whomever is calling their offense) they would be hard to deal with. They might win some games this year 62-45....but they would/should/could have won about all of them to this point.
