What we just witnessed was what has happened ALL season, and Pope is apparently incapable of seeing it. Fought back hard to get within 1 and he idiotically puts Jasper AND BG in the game at the same time. Within a quick 25-35 seconds - the entire game flipped. We had Florida completely on their heels…..the crowd was roaring…..Oweh was hitting everything. The only thing that could stop it? MARK POPE.

We'd be getting beat by 30+ right now if not for Oweh..I give him props. Everybody else just sucks.

It’s a catch 22. With him leading a team it’s going nowhere. But without him? They’d be NIT 100%. It’s on the coach to find a roster that plays well, has a high IQ leader, and stops the me ball early. Mark doesn’t none of this and then his substitutions? Guys a joke. An absolute joke.
I absolutely despise Mark Pope as a coach. He is very, very limited in his ability to game plan, execute and adjust in-game. Honestly, he can't be gone quick enough for me.
He's playing soft twice been in the lane at the rim and he won't go up to draw contact. Gotta find other ways to score if the 3 ball aint there
That timeout shows Golden's killer instinct. Pope wouldn't have called a timout in that situation.
I’ll despise him as a person if he comes back next year with no 2026 recruits to his name, knowing damned well next year is a bust, all for the name of the mighty dollar, the Kentucky basketball program be damned.
Pope is a complete failure. If he is back, it will be so much worse.

BCG sober is 10 times the coach of mark pope. Pope is the worse coach in Kentucky history. He got a sweet 16 because of the NIL and Kentucky brand early. That’s it. It’s now his show, without the extra help from the brand. All those guys came in hearing the name Kentucky. That’s not gonna help now. Here is the real mark pope.
