The Hitters remain the big boys on the block. Like the song says..."All they do is win, win, win...no matter what"! Browner a beast for his size.
Central has better overall speed and athletes but Hitters refuse to lose at Duchon.
I think HC would have preferred FieldTurf today---Maybe a rematch at HC in November if home/away sequencing works out in playoffs???

That was a great football game. HC has one of the best offenses I've seen in years. They played nearly a perfect game. I thought HC #5 was outstanding, and that has to be one of the finest offensive lines in the state. HC had receivers open all afternoon but just couldn't complete the long pass.

GW has completely solved any early season issues they had on offense. They will continue to improve over the next few weeks. GW' s defense got a real test today, but held on and got the late plays they needed to win. I was impressed with their play late in the game, as they seemed to figure out HC' s o-line play. GW needs to correct penalties, but they've had that issue since forever. And, I thought GW QB Cochrane was by far the better QB in this game. Brodner is a beast, but Cochrane is the general. His passing was one of the keys to the win.

This was a quarter finals caliber game. HC played well and should be proud.
