If Frost is our guy does Gebbia have a shot at running his offense?... I think Gebbia could really be a good qb but not sure if its doable for him with his frame. I would think his passing ability would be intriguing to the new staff.. I know POB is also still here but I think Gebbia has more potential...What say you?

If Frost is the hire, Gebbia very well be his first priority to convince him being the future QB here...

Concerned about his durability too.

Gebbia loves it here with or without Riley. There will be no recruiting him to stay. As far as the offense, I believe Gebbia ran a spread in HS. If Frost is the coach, I believe his offense may fit Gebbia better than Rileys/Langsdorfs offense.
He did and he was down to us and Ole Miss out of HS. Don’t they run a spread O?

I almost jumped off a building when I heard of a remake with Ronda Rousie. Thank Dalton almighty that never panned out.

No kidding. Ghostbusters with all chicks(terrible)...I hear they are making "Oceans Eight" with all women on the crew. Can't wait. What's next, Over the Top remake with Lincoln Ladyhawk? Predator with some group of hens? Deliverance with strap-ons?

Didn't really know what kind of offense Calabasas ran just knew he finished second leading passer in California prep history..The better news is from what you said about him loving it here with or without Riley..

He would fall in love with Frost offense.

From the OWH article yesterday, Key Sr.'s comments definitely sounds like there is still a good possibility he comes back depending on the hire.

I think if its Frost he will come back... A big bodied receiver for shorter routes to move the sticks would be a plus for this staff obviously.

A top 10 QB with great accuracy and decent mobility? I'm sure the new coach is going to spend quite a lot of time trying to convince Tristin to remain in Lincoln.

Any coach worth a damn is going to build the offense around such a player, not try to fit a square peg in a round hole.

From what I'm told, the new coach will have to spend about 0% of his time convinvincing him to stay in Lincoln. He loves it here.

Gebbia will be an absolute F'n stud in this offense.

Just curious, what is your marital status?

Yes, I think they can both run the offense well. And anyone that thinks that this is primarily a run based offense had better look at the stats. UCF passes the ball about 45% of the time.
Then that IS a run based offense....especially from the spread. If you run 80 plays...42-45 are runs....that is a lot of run plays in a spread system. I love it. And I know the passing game is horizontal as well...so 42-45 run plays, and 10-15 pass plays near the line of scrimmage, either screens or what not...that is getting close 70% of plays that mimic the run with the offensive line pushing downfield, and not pass blocking...and that is the key to wearing out defenses.

I'm talking to run the ball guy who thinks we should run the ball 80% of the time. To some, 45% is way too much.
