Western Michigan president Russ Kavalhuna told ESPN that he didn't think the Big Ten's replay process that put a second back on the clock, leading to Michigan's winning touchdown pass over the Broncos, "is as good as it could be."

The most mysterious thing about the b1g's actions and process imo is why they made their decision based on the worst possible angle you could use. You cannot even see the ball at 00:01 because it has disappeared over the WMU player's shoulder. It is impossible to say at what point he actually touches the ball as he is fully extending his arms out in front of him before he touches it (the angle the big used will make the ball appear closer to him because it is taken from almost directly behind and slightly above the WMU player). The b1g Replay Room has all the camera angles available to them with their Game Clock superimposed on them - why did they not use the opposite angle the broadcast showed where you can actually see the clock AND the moment the ball actually touches the WMU player's fully extended hands? (you cannot even see the ball the moment the WMU player touches it in the video provided by the b1g as the view is blocked by the player himself as it falls behind his right shoulder because the angle is from directly behind.). Why didn't the b1g provide BOTH ANGLES where the clock would automatically have been synched to the b1g's superimposed Game Clock - we could at least see the moment the ball is actually touched by the WMU player and the superimposed clock (you cannot see this moment in the single video provided by the b1g - the ball disappears behind the WMU player before you can see this moment)? Better yet, why doesn't the b1g provide the Replay Center's front angle video which is the only angle where you can see the moment the ball is actually touched with the same b1g Game Clock superimposed? Why would they choose to use and show us an angle where you can't even see the ball the moment it is being touched? Why won't they show us all of the replay angles available to them ESPECIALLY the front angle view (similar to the one shown on broadcast) where you can actually SEE THE BALL the moment is touched by the WMU player? If it showed the same thing, why on earth would you not show us the video where you can actually see the ball the moment it is touched (with the exact same synched Game Clock superimposed) rather than give us the absolute worst possible angle where you can't even see the ball the moment it is touched as evidence??? (an angle that is subject to distortion due to the flatness [i.e., lack of depth and 3D dimension]). If the Front Angle view shows the same thing (with the exact same b1g Game Clock superimposed), why would you not provide this video which would allow you to actually SEE THE BALL the moment it is being touched and see what the superimposed clock reads???
