With who we have signed now, for the backcourt i was really hoping to land duval and keep one of allen, kennard and jackson. for the frontcourt, i was hoping to have two of bolden, delaurier and knox. hopefully something like that can still happen.

losing all 3 of allen , kennard and jackson would be really sad - i understand why, but still sad

I liked harry a lot I think his rebounding was awesome...

As for Luke and Grayson if either leave which they will I'll probably be sadder then I've ever been after a season but if both leave I might be in a psych ward lol
Well I'm not saying you'll be forced to wear it yet, but I will say they are making you a straight jacket in your size.

I doubt Jackson leaves seriously. He's not a good enough point guard to be drafted this year. Heck Joel Berry and Frank Mason might not get drafted in this year's draft. Besides I think Frank Jackson could average over 20 points a game next season. If I was Luke, I would leave if im a guaranteed first round pick. Allen needs to come back and be Duke's next 2000 point scorer at Duke.

Absolutely loved the effort and passion for Duke that Giles had this season. It's extremely sad that injuries changed what his one season could have been, but I'm thankful that he got out of the season healthy and able to make the money he deserves! I hope that he continues to improve and reclaim his position as one of the best players in his draft class during the years to come.

I hate this stuff and is making me not like College Basketball as much...

So most of team leaves and then what?? Same again next year? It sucks...

And for the most part what we get out of it is regular first weekend exits from the tourney...

How many OAD are playing in the Final Four?

I am in the same boat as you are. It's hard to enjoy your team when every year it is a revolving door. It is getting old and I wish the NBA would change the rule but they will not.

Good luck Harry..no reason to chance another injury

And if Frank leaves it would be a dinner move than William Avery leaving...and that one was flat out dumb as hell....just my 2 cents

Word that I hope isn't true my wife works with an attorney that's an iron Duke and there seems to be some concern about Wendell now if Jackson Grayson and Luke leave and no commit from Duvall. He will not be able to display his game if we have no guards that can get the ball to him. Of course there's tons of rumors running right now so who knows.

Yep, it's definitely making college bball become less and less interesting, and I'm as passionate a Duke fan as anyone in the World. I'm thankful for Giles but also sickened by his type of player and the fact that Duke has to get caught up into this new age of NBA and NBA development league that is basically our program right now. Good luck Giles, but I can't honestly say I feel much of anything for him one way or another.

It's not his fault, but he's part of this awful system that's diluting the entire sport of college bball. This sux, no two ways about it.

im with this. So many rumors that it's not even funny. But I never looked at it from that stance. We need trevon bad just to be somewhat competitive unless all these freshmen come in with the fab fives old attitude

No offense to some of these kids, but I would not draft some of these guys (Giles or Jackson). If Jackson goes, that's a big mistake. He's not ready and there's a good chance he won't be drafted in round 1. I think it's a mistake for Giles to go as well.

Giles turning pro is not about a "dream to play in the NBA" - it's about getting a contract by being drafted in round 1 because the only way he makes it in the NBA is if he gets fully healthy - which will take a year or two. He won't be doing anything next year but sitting on the bench. But, as far as development is concerned, his best bet would be to come back to Duke, get fully healthy, and become a better basketball player. Giles best chance is to go to a team like San Antonio and be given a couple of seasons.

On Jackson, if he were to declare his best bet is to not hire an agent and see how he does at the pre-draft camps. Then he can get an idea as to whether he will be drafted or not. Giles also should not hire an agent, imo, because he may not do well at those camps (if he goes to them).

I knew in reality that he would be gone, but kept dreaming that he would come back but as usual reality wins. Ha! Best of luck to Harry. I hope he can reach his full potential in the NBA, which also means that he can stay healthy! Gonna miss him!

The same reason why you think Jackson could score 20 ppg next year is why the NBA would take him above Berry and Jackson. The latter are known commodities. The NBA gambles on potential.

Chill. Frank Jackson isn't leaving. He might test the waters, sure. But he's got the potential to rocket up the boards next year even more than Luke.

I loved Harry's attitude. He just couldn't overcome everything that happened to him. I'm hoping he gets back to 100%, or close to it, and kicks some NBA ***. Good luck, Harry, and thanks for giving it your best shot at Duke.

K-oach Q for what you say here I am in total agreement with. It's a season gone to hell in a handbag for most of us, it was never frigging meant to be. A season with some very good memories but I'll always have mostly bad memories except for beating the cheaters a couple of times and of course the ACCT. I came back from Countdown to Craziness thinking the world was ours and ours alone. The way I'm feeling currently I wish I never had the hear the phrase of "One And Done" again. With very, very few exceptions players that are really good to great players will only be around for 1 or 2 years and never develop into what fully rounded great college players and teams should be. Great defensive players have become a lost component of the game. I love college basketball but It's in a pretty disgusting state for the foreseeable future, for me anyway. Bah humbug is all I can say. Go to Hell UnCheats Go to hell. To my fellow Dukies I am sorry to sound like a Sour Sally Pus or a Debbie Downer but I find it currently disgusting.
