It's starting a fast break vs good teams. Tatum and Giles can start a fast break, where as we've struggled to do that last year and this year until Florida. Matt/Luke/Grayson are so happy to get a rebound they typically just walk it up. With tatum and giles you'll see us get more rebounds and get going. My opinion. After seeing a healthy Tatum at CTC we are in for a treat with this young man once he hits his stride. Anything Giles brings early on will be icing on the cake. These two on the court at the same time full strength? Oh my!

He asked for a transfer to UNC, but of course Roy turned him down. Will be great to see him on the court. I was beginning to think he was going to ask for a transfer. OFC
Maybe because the coach of said freshman has more rings than either coach in that game combined
He knows his team is a bout to take a butt whipping by Duke!!It's pretty cool that Duke is in the opponents eyes. Even when it is only a criticism about press coverage. It is fun being a Duke fan!
Giles playing is only going to increase the hype as well. Coach Brey knows it too.
ND is pretty good. I personally won't say that. I like where your head is at though. He knows his team is a bout to take a butt whipping by Duke!!
Oddly enough I had no idea these two teams were about to play or that they were undefeated, HA!He's literally just whining because no one is talking about his team/that game.

I would. This year WILL be different when we face them. I've always liked Brey but no need for shot at Harry
He seems to not like being in ks shadow when in reality he should be appreciative.Brey saying that really surprised me. OFC
I don't mind Brey's comments one bit. I don't think he's taking a shot at Harry at all, just how media is covering him. He makes a good point about the CBB hype machine. It certainly favors us. People get sick of the rich getting richer. Tough nuggets though, Duke is just more exciting than Nova. I like watching great passing and defense, but most people are looking for elite athletes and emotion.

He's trying to turn ND basketball into something it will never be.
And that is the big piece of info here that Brey might be overlooking. Duke is a big draw. Writers know this and play to it. If ND was the draw Duke is, among both those that like and dislike, Thier game night get more attention. I don't blame coach Brey, it has to be annoying seeing things that have yet to happen be more noteworthy that what your team is doing. It isn't going to change either.Yep. When Duke/Tennessee State is a bigger draw than ND/Nova, I'd be mad too.
Apologies to you, Mr. Butterbutt, if indeed you are not setting up a master troll. It was an honest question. I genuinely am curious since hes been out so long how hes been practicing and if hes close to what his potential is/was. If no one knows thats fine but I thought Id ask right into the horses mouth for answers to my query.

It's great that Duke football can be discussed, you know a team with players that have won, instead of talking about a certain team that features an NFL prospect linebacker that has an imaginary girlfriend.Notre Dame has all their football games televised. Duke's football team doesn't. That's just not fair. OFC
