First of all, I sure in hell don't like the Crows (Loserville), but I will give them credit for being a good team, which they are. I think Petrino is a lying scum-bag, but the man can coach. He is one of the best offensive coaches I have ever seen. Do I wish UK had a coach like him, you bet I do, but just not him. Oh! I know a lot of fans want him, but I still think morals are important in life. I think everyone deserves a second chance, but he has more then two or three. He is a habitual liar.
We keep making excuses, such as, "If Louisville was in the SEC, their record wouldn't be so good." That's BS! Florida State, Clemson, Miami, Pittsburgh, have all won National Championships. I believe Syracuse tied for one against an SEC team who wouldn't go for two, to win the game.
What I'm getting at, is the excuse we can't compete in the SEC is wrong. We just have to have the right coach. Is Stoops and Troops the right ones. I don't know at this time, but it appears their not.
I hope Coach Stoops can "Right the ship," but if he can't, pay the millions and get him out of here.
I would like to see other opinions on this. I may be way off-base on my thoughts.

I don't think you'll find many that won't give UofL their due. It's time for UK to step up. It can be done in this state, no more excuses.

Agreed. Whatever you feel about Petrino, it still stings to see their success and know that he wanted to come to Kentucky.

When was the last time we won 9 games? Plus if they win today they might go 12-1 again!
Yeah this guy can't recruit or coach.

UK is not in step with what this country values anymore. We can stand our ground and try to take the high road- but by doing it we limit what we can accomplish. The old story of nice guys finish last is constantly being proven. So, you make choices - Louisville went with someone who lies and cheats. But this country seems to like liar's and cheats - just look at this Presidential election.

He didn't have his QB in those seasons. Now he has his QB who also happens to be the best player in the country.

I don't think he wanted to come to UK as much as he wanted back at a P5 or SEC school and UK had an immediate opening to get there.

Petrino is like Cal from a parents point of view. (Relax, I'm not saying they are morally the same, they're not.) But if I'm the parent of a big time QB, and Petrino has been in my living room right after Stoops, the choice is as clear as an uncloudy day.

Cardkilla, NO ONE is heaping praise on them, but until we face facts, we will remain where we are, second or third fiddle in this state. Do you really think our coaches are as good as their's in coaching football. Right now their kicking the **** out of Florida State, 14 to 0.
I despise the Crows, but that's not going to make UK any better. I've been bleeding BLUE probably a lot longer then you've been born. When I started rooting for UK, you were probably jumping from "Ball to Ball" to keep from being a little Squirt.

Jurich is 100 times the A.D. Mitch is. And petrino's scrotum knows more football then Stoops does. It's going to be a long few years boys.....

Yeah our coachs and AD sucks Petrino is a beast NCAA FB Coach probably top 10 all time after its all said and done. What a joke Mitch is for not hiring him!!

I'm a prick,, couldn't care less about what an old Stoll field guy has to say.. And yes,, I absolutely hate all reTARD fans that way.. :)
