If you asked me this morning, I'd have told you the kid doesn't deserve to be on the team, let alone go in the game.

I rolled my eyes when he subbed in.

He played REALLY strong basketball tonight. He was making the correct defensive reads and was where he was supposed to be. He fought for rebounds. He had that really nice block. He brought energy and effort the entire time.

He even had a couple really nice passes. He forced 1 bad one. But I can forgive a mistake or two when you're doing the things you're supposed to be doing at a high level. Really...just...shocked with him tonight. Good for you young man.

The question is where has this been all year. This is the Garrison I thought we would be getting back. That said, he still makes awful turnovers and Indiana’s front line is maybe the worst I’ve seen all year. Even some cupcakes we played had better centers.
