I doubt Rockford will be crowded. It was fun sending the team off today. Unfortunately, I have a conflict but will watch on NHSA.
Coach Frank's play calling on the last drive was reminiscent of Pete Carrols during last years Super Bowl... Still scratching my head! Nonetheless, I'm optimistic about the future...
Wondering will Hetlett petition for Brodner to get a 5th year...
That was a fun game. Brodner was a beast. Total of 41 TDs now for the year. 41 wow. He just needs a sliver of daylight and boom.
It will be fun having a new opponent for the semis this year. Looking forward to seeing if C-G's wishbone. GW has had fairly good success against option teams, so wondering how well we will match up.

Not a classy post from GE but GW is not going away anytime in future years. Hopefully both them and MC will be in the same class again for several years and can play many times.
That's interesting that you are blaming the play calling because after the game Coach Frank told the reporters that the plays are drawn up and called just fine. It's the players that messed up.

Toss it up twice to get three yards! Very uncharacteristic of any MC team to do such, especially with the game on the line. Last years bad omen was taking the stripes off the socks, this year I noticed they didn't hang the Scapular from the goal post before the game... But I digress! You live and die with what got you there.
Statistically, under Hetlett, GW has lost more po games at home so I don't know where you make up this garbage. If you are mad at Preps fine, but don't cry over spilled milk. Facts are GW won, and shut out a team that has not been shut out since 2003, which again happened to be in Glen Ellyn. Maybe MC "barely" got shut out, but they did. Live with it and move on. Generally GW fans have not rubbed the victory in MC's face, so I really don't understand your post . Were you even at the game even? GW was a very gracious host to generally a nice group of MC fans. I could post a lot about about MC players, their coaches and their obnoxious behavior and disrespect for GW, God and country while at Duchon, but I will not start an anti MC thread. Get over the loss and move on.

The fact is that MC had 69 yards rushing on 30+ carries and their coaches decided their odds were better through the air. Their coaching staff has won 11 state championships making those decisions. Any anger these guys have for their coaches is their's to resolve. Try not to take it personally.
