Nope resigned Jan 29 and is done. Was gonna retire next year but is done now instead. Trying to find out what happened.

Had his best chance to beat MS this year. GBS will miss him.

He turned around the Titans from perennial cellar dweller to frequent playoff qualifier. What he wasn't able to do at GBS is break into the ranks of top tier programs that make deep playoff runs more often than not. It is not an easy thing to do and should serve as a reminder to us of how extraordinary those top tier programs are.

Sadly, the CSL isn't what is used to be.
His best win was a first-round shutout of LA when he was at McHenry in '94.
In fact, I'd wager he got the job at least partially based on that game.

He coached at McHenry for 10 seasons after that game...

I think the fact that he was 142-28 over 16 seasons and made the playoffs every year was the main reason. Add in the fact that he is a quality guy and you have your know why he was selected.

When looking this up, I had forgotten who replaced him at McHenry....Chad Hetlet
