5-1 Glenn will take on 6-1 Butler. Be honest I think this could get interesting. But we will see. I’m sure Butler will be heavy favored.

Glenn spanked East Forsyth and beat a good DC team, they might surprise Butler.
Glenn isn't going to surprise Butler, I have no doubt that Coach Hales knows good and well how strong this Bobcat team is. There is zero chance that Glenn overlooks Butler or vise versa. I think this has the makings of a phenomenal game.
Yes, the first game of the season was non-conference where Glenn won 18-0.

The Butler MP game is a head scratcher for sure. Butler looked much more conservative play calling wise. Once they opened it up right after that game, their offense looked hard to stop...but the competition wasn’t all that either. I will tell you one thing, the offense is clicking. Nelson is hard to stop out of the backfield and Butler has 3 or 4 WRs that can really run and get open. Let’s see if Glen can keep Butler under 30 points.

Butler has opened the offense up since the MP game letting Metzger throw the ball around. I havent seen Butler’s offense look this good since Cheeks senior year almost four years ago. I am disappointed that Butler doesn’t get to play MP again this season.

Glenn won its Championship last week by beating East Forsyth in a yr where East had to play a bunch of JV kids on Varsity. The Glenn coach should've been more worried about Butler instead of going on Twitter trying to convince everyone they were outright conference Champs even though East Forsyth took a share of the Conference Championship.
Butler isn’t scared to play the young guys. They are starting a freshman at corner that looks like he should be a major D1 prospect. Can run and is already over 6ft it looks like.
Like I said earlier in the week Butler has a tough RB and 4 WRs that are good. They put a lot of stress on a defenses back 7. Glenn’s defense looked like they never saw a passing attack like that

It's largely the same story every year in Forsyth County. If they get a path to a title game that doesn't include a Meck County top tier team they do pretty well. When they have to play a top 2-3 Meck County squad it usually ends with a loss.

So first no one could win one in Forsyth Co. at all for the millions of reasons you all used to come up with up until a couple years ago.
Now no one in Forsyth Co. can legitimately enjoy a championship unless we've played a "top tier" Meck Co. team.
What will it be next guy? Judging by your likes it's more than just me that's over that whole perspective. All we (EF) could do was play who was in our brackets. Had we lost you all would've went in on that as well.
Much respect to Meck Co. and to this day we hate not coming through against Creek in 15 but can you all move on to something else? It's beyond exhausting. From 1A to 4AA everyone should be celebrated for winning a championship.
You all trying to place an asterisks where no one else is. We're not trying to keep up with Meck Co. bro we're thankful to get a couple championships knowing how hard it was to accomplish.
I just think it's funny that Glenn beats East Forsyth in its worst year since probably 2009 and the Glenn people automatically think they're a shoe in for a state Championship. Sorry Glenn they don't give out rings for beating East. Enjoy your CO Conference Championship

Big Difference in 4A and 4AA when was the last time East won their conference.
No asterik required but your also aware that the draw matters. Good chance EF has 2 more on the shelf if not having to get Mallard Creek in 15 or Butler in 12. You can only play who is in front of you but in most cases when the top team in Forsyth meets with a Butler, Mallard Creek, Catholic, Vance etc,etc it typically ends in a blow out.
How many titles does Butler have if they dont have to beat Indy from 2000-2009??
2002, 2006, 2008 teams would have won titles in my opinion. Unfortunately for Butler they are between the Indy and MC dynasty’s and didn’t have a long reign.
Butler still would have beaten 85% to 90% of the teams in the State. They did not fall off like Indy, after their reign.
18, and this Spring they are Co Champs with Glenn. Last time East Forsyth with their 1600 kids was in 4AA they took 3x Champ Mallard Creek to OT in the Regional Final. East Forsyth has been legit for several years now. You say big difference in 4a & 4aa. Yes, there is also a Big difference in 1500 kids and 2500 kids in your school.
Obviously there's a difference in MOST years.
We won a share of the conference title this year as young as we are. Off the top of my head 18, 17, 15 seasons we won it if I'm not mistaken.
We appreciate winning conference but that's to be expected that we contend with West for conference year in and out.
Don't know about everyone else but in 11 we gave Butler all they wanted at Memorial stadium.
I believe that was the game that turned our program around. Butler was loaded and our defense was just on the field too much with those "dawgs" they had.
I'll even admit the playoff loss to Catholic was terrible. That 15 game to Creek will forever jab at us because that would've gave us a championship in 4AA and those 2 we recently won. We understood how colossal that loss was.
After that we even tried to schedule a couple of your "top tier" programs during the regular season.
That's how we wound up playing Richmond in the scrimmage at Wake Forest and then scheduled Creek the following year at West Forsyth but it was lightning and got called.
A couple schools schedules didn't sync that we wanted to play but we understood the teams we had to play to improve. The kids wanted those games as well.
