So there was this guy who smoked for 35 years until he got lung cancer. He went to his doctor and his doctor said "I can't say for sure that smoking caused the cancer, but wouldn't it be a good time to stop?" Brassow's response would be, "see there I told you that whole smoking causes cancer thing was just something made up by liberals."
Not even close to the same thing. Key difference is you know how long he smoked. So you have a 0 point.
With global warming/man made climate change/client disruption there is no starting point so noone has a clue what humans are doing to the climate, if anything.
The actual analogous fact pattern would be a patient came in with possible lung cancer who said he smokes. Could smoking be the cause of his potential ailment? Of course, but it requires more questions. Questions in the climate context that cannot be answered.
So is it possible humans are effecting the climate? Absolutely. Is there enough data to say it for sure? Absolutely not. Furthermore there isn't enough data to conclude any such changes are even bad.
Tl; Dr: there is no proof of warming. If there is warming there is no proof humans caused it. If there is proof of either of those there is no proof any of it is having a negative effect.
