Here's what is required to be on Kaizer's petition, folks. Sign right up!

LOL. These idiots will never learn. And the BEST part is, this is directly off the website of his "prized" petition host: http://www.petitionproject.org/index.php

Seriously, Kaizer should just shrink down to the size of a molecule and float out into space after posting that clunker. Somebody tell me who that is on that signature? Yet that... THAT is what is supposed to counter every legitimate scientific institution on earth with a national or international standing?

Look at the utter nonsense that has to be navigated though in the face of the list of scientific organizations I posted? That is disgraceful.

Al Gore doesn't equal most of the worlds climate scientists. Attack the argument not the person. You can always find people with agendas. Money is made on both sides. Just take the scientific evidence by itself.

True the Koch Brother's are huge producers of green house gases and pollution who fill up the coffers of the Republicans like Scott Walker.

Secondly and more embarrassingly, your last paragraph is quoted from an utterly discredited study done by a crackpot organization that shows you are only superficially familiar with this issue insomuch as can be googled in 5 minutes.

I did some research on the OISM and concur with with Lord Crow has posted above. They published an online form at their website that anyone could fill out and submit claiming to be whatever they wanted to be without any vetting whatsoever. They promoted their web site to all the climate deniers and industry types that had an anti GW agenda - hmmm I wonder who fill most of those forms out? I also learned that not ONE reputable climate scientist signed the so-called "petition".

The issue is not what's happening. Earth gonna Earth. Duh. Human gonna human. OK. What do the experts say should, or should not be done, about it? That's the only part that matters, and exactly what I don't hear people talking about. What should be done? I'm all ears.

I think the solution is purely an economic one. When power companies around the world find it more economically beneficial to use alternative energy sources over traditional fossil sources, and when the electric car becomes more perfected the shift away from coal and oil will become a natural economic/technological evolution. The question is how can we speed up the transformation, and will it happen in time?

The fact that it's been repeatedly pointed out to Ziusudra that most of the organizations on his list have never studied climate change, yet he continues to repeatedly post the list as definitive proof of climate change, is basically the global warming argument in a nutshell.

I've done as many scientific studies on global warming as most of those organizations on Z's list. It's a circle jerk of world governments looking for a hand out from the American taxpayer.

50 years from now when the earth is 400 degrees like Z claims, I'll happily burn up rather than paying a redistributive carbon tax.

Unlike the National Sciences Academies of Zambia, Mozambique, Haiti, and so on listed on that roll call you've now posted under three different user names?

I wouldn't let the head of the National Academy of Sciences of Uganda change the oil in my car.
You are xenophobic, ignorant, and have no idea what you are talking about. So Mwananyanda M Lewanika, President of the Zambia Academy of Sciences with a PhD in Biochemistry and an MSc in Chemistry from the University of Southern Mississippi (and a BSc in Biology from Jackson State University) is not fit to change the oil in your car?

You, and all those in this thread like you, are seriously offering up your own uneducated ignorance in the face of overwhelming scientific consensus, not just from the majority of every scientific institution on earth with national or international standing, but every scientific institution on earth with national or international standing along with the aforementioned 97% of scientists surveyed with expertise bearing directly on worldwide climate.

And you want to be taken seriously. And you get discredited beyond repair in post after post and thread after thread. Yet here you still are. Dumb as ever. Uninformed as ever. Idiotic as ever. Please... shut up. Don't post on this topic. Sit in the corner silently staring at the wall and maybe drawing in crayon with your feet because you have no place in a scientific discussion. You literally are harming the human race with your ignorance.

Here is the President of the Uganda National Academy of Sciences and he is also unfit to change the oil in MdWIldcat55's car:

Professor Nelson K. Sewankambo, MBChB, MMed, MSc, FRCP, LLD (Hon), sometimes spelled as Nelson Ssewankambo, is a Ugandanphysician, academician, medical researcher, and medical administrator. He is Professor of Medicine and Principal, Makerere University College of Health Sciences,[2] a semi-autonomous constituent college of Makerere University, the oldest university in Uganda.

Sewankambo was educated at Namilyango College, an all-boys residential middle and high school (grades: eight to thirteen) located in Mukono District, from 1965 until 1970. In 1971, he entered the Makerere University School of Medicine, where he obtained the degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, graduating in 1976. He went on to obtain the Master of Medicine degree, specializing in Internal Medicine, also from Makerere in the early 1980s. He later obtained a Master of Sciencedegree in Clinical Epidemiology, from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians. He was later awarded an honorary degree of Doctor of Laws by McMaster University.

In the early 1980s, Sewankambo was one of the earliest physicians in Uganda to recognize the new disease that caused patients to lose weight and "slim" down to abnormal chachectic sizes. The new disease, at first called Slim Disease, became known as HIV/AIDS. He has been at the forefront of research about the disease, specializing in HIV clinical drug trials.[5] He has extensively published the finding of his research in medical journals and other peer publications. In the late 1990s, he was appointed Dean of Makerere University School of Medicine. He served in that position until 2007 when he was promoted to the position of Principal, Makerere University College of Health Sciences, a position he still occupies.[1] He has been engaged in a number of international boards, one of them is the Board of the Norwegian Global Health and Vaccination Research (GLOBVAC) for 2011 - 2014.

Where'd you get your PhD from and what scientific discipline is it in, Bill? Have you applied for a job at one of the National Science Academies around the world and how did your research credentials hold up? Thanks.

Maybe you can fill out the slip that Kaizer was touting and beef up your resume seeing as how you too can be one of the prestigious names on their ever growing list. LOL. You idiots are not worth my time. You don't deserve another minute of my time.

Exactly.

I haven't studied ****, don't have a PhD and am not employed by some jack off organization, yet I'm still as experienced actually studying global warming as the majority of those groups on you list.

The National Academy of Sciences (NAS) is a private, non-profit society of distinguished scholars. Established by an Act of Congress, signed by President Abraham Lincoln in 1863, the NAS is charged with providing independent, objective advice to the nation on matters related to science and technology. Scientists are elected by their peers to membership in the NAS for outstanding contributions to research. The NAS is committed to furthering science in America, and its members are active contributors to the international scientific community. Nearly 500 members of the NAS have won Nobel Prizes, and the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, founded in 1914, is today one of the premier international journals publishing the results of original research.

Can you show me how he or anyone in the Uganda National Academy of Sciences is qualified to provide a supported opinion on climate change? An impressive medical resume, no doubt.

And can you please provide an example of research conducted by the Uganda National Academy of Sciences that independently supports their stance of backing the scientific consensus you love to felate?

Do we have any scientists on Catspaws? Can you please tell Ziusudra he's a moron?

Step 1: Be a scientist
Step 2: Give your opinion on any topic in the world whether or not you've even studied the topic or know anything about it
Step 3: Get a hand job from Ziusudra for being an expert

That's the FIRST person I want peer reviewing a study on anthropogenic climate change. A medical doctor.

Would love to see an aggregation of these peer reviews from these organizations, the findings, and the source material they were reviewing.

Can you find one, Crow?

Well, you have the option of having every scientific body on earth with a national or international standing review your study... or you can fill one of these out and do it yourself:

No... I don't think I will. If you can't even find the information you seek for yourself then I have no reason to suspect you are worth my time in retrieving the information for you even though it is readily available to anyone say, at least 4 years old and that can click a mouse.

Not saying that Z's claim about Uganda is untrue. I'm more surprised the ghost of Idi Amin didn't have him killed.

I have no opinion on this whole climate change. I'm just curious what kind of evidence is needed to sway either side? Can somebody tackle that question. Pretty please with effing sugar on top?

These always go the same way. All you you imbeciles post a torrent of discredited idiotic propaganda then I have to spend a huge amount of time knocking them down, then as soon as I discredit one then another pops up like little ugly warted whack-a-mole heads.

Then, simultaneously, I am challenged to educate you all to your own satisfaction on something you are not willing to listen to in the first place?

Listen closely, I have every scientific institution on earth with a national or international standing on my side. You have none. Zero. Zip. Nada.

I have 97% of all scientists with expertise bearing directly on climate change on my side, you have a few big energy backed nuts and Kaizer's hanging chad two checkbox punchboard ballot on your side.

I don't have to prove jackshit to you. I don't have to provide jackshit to you. I am here to kick mud in your faces and make fun of you because you are all stupid. That is my sole and only purpose here. I am attracted to how stupid you are. I am enjoying beating you all to death in this thread and even moreso because you seem oblivious to how foolish every single last one of your pathetic "arguments" are. You have no redeeming values as humans and I doubt most of you can even live another day without some form of intensive homecare and even more intensive pharmaceutical dosages. Or, as in the case of Willy, you are here precisely because of your pharmaceutical dosages.
