As happy as I am to see them lose, I hate OSU. One of the most annoying fan bases around.
Me too, except for the Tarholes, the Suckeyes are my next most hated team. I had hoped they could both lose. Hope Wisky beats them in football, but , won't bet on that happening.

This is first time I’ve seen the Heels this year, and I know the Bacot kid is hurt. But, has it been like this all year for them? And what I mean by that, is it Cole Anthony and really not much else? Like I said, tonight’s the first I’ve saw of them. They don’t look like much.

Yep. This is not a good UNC team. I know it’s Roy, I know they have one of if not the best player in college, but this team isn’t very good.

Outside of Anthony

- They lack secondary ball handlers.

- Lack outside shooting for now (they have potential in this area)

- Their defense is bad as usual with Roy

- The supporting cast can’t play as fast as they try.

- Their rebounding advantage is smoke and mirrors. Against good rebounding squads, they won’t be able to live off of it.

If you want further proof, UNC is typically a team that plays over the number Vegas sets. This squad has played over only once. The last Roy team to start that way was the NIT squad. It’s early yet, but just like we’ve said this Duke team has flaws, UNC has real, troubling issues if Bacot is seriously injured.

And to those who say K has gone so far downhill, look at Roy this season and count your blessings we still have the THE Man.

"Experts" projecting Duke to possibly have a down year this year- Duke will most likely be battling for a #1 or #2 seed.

"Experts" projecting UNC to possibly have a down year this year- Hopefully this team can make the tournament, a top 8 seed would be a good year.

I love how Roy pulled his starters and the reserves came in and actually played with passion. Then he puts the starters back in and OSU goes on a 14-0 run. Poor Roy. :D
I actually love when Roy pulls his starters and puts them in timeout, mostly because that means UNC is definitely going to lose and this is a last ditch attempt at something. I really am being serious though. There are definitely times when I wish Coach K would pull out all the starters and just let them watch for a minute (albeit with better results)

The ACC is pretty gross this year. I’d be surprised if UNC couldn’t squeak out 8-9 wins in conference Bacot or not. But you’re not wrong. That may not be enough to get you in. And they won’t have many “hang your hat on it wins.” Gonzaga is going to beat the brakes off of them.

Spot on. UNC will win 10+ ACC games this year, the league is pretty bad. I still enjoyed last night though lol.

I’m still not totally sold on UNC being a below-average team, but they looked like one last night. It’s the first time I’ve seen them and Anthony looked pretty average, although you can tell he’s pretty good.

Lastly, I don’t think the ACC is bad. It’s just nowhere near as good as it’s been the last few years. In each of the last three years you could make an argument for six or even seven teams capable of making a run to the Final Four. And that leaves out a ninth-place Syracuse team who did make it three years ago.

It's still early of course but it looks like this could be another castrophy with mammoth and epic proportions down at cheater u . It's a disaster waiting to happen. hof coach roy williams may have to petition for mercy from the NCAA as to because of the cheaters past success be given an automatic bid to the dance no matter what happens during the regular season. This would of course be another great innovation created and each year from now own there would be a mercy team permitted to participate because of a bad season every now and then. Anyway the college basketball world are all pulling for hof coach roy williams in case the dean dome implodes itself and both the ceiling and the roof becomes the floor. You know if I were'nthink already banned from thr this post would surely have me cremated. In fact they may for just a moment allow me back just so they can ban me again. Looking for a big toophly 1124 like. ;) :p :D   o_O OFC

Maybe. Right now. I’d count Louisville, Duke, UNC, FSU, and UVA as the only sure fire tournament teams. NC St will probably be there and Syracuse still has a shot too. That’s a possible 7. In a down season, that’s a down year in the league regardless. And not one of those teams is amazing.

In a down NCAA season, it’s not surprising the ACC is suffering as well. Compared to the rest of the country, I guess the ACC isn’t any worse than them, but the teams in the league aren’t very good overall.

Watched the last five minutes of the first half....both teams looked awful.

Did see that the Bacot kid got hurt. They showed him rolling his ankle....didn’t look good. Hopefully it’s nothing serious. They did say he wouldn’t return.

It's all on hof coach roy williams. He should have talked nasser little into coming back . Nobody to blame but himself. OFC
