Not sure it matters but I prefer to see the home team win, especially because we were unable to knock off Iowa at their place.

Mathematically it makes more sense to root for Wisconsin if we’re trying to get that coveted double bye in the B1Gs (unreal even typing that) way way WAY early to start thinking that ourselves but for some help with others, it definitely benefits us having a team we beat (and thus have tiebreaker with) win over a team that we lost to (and thus would pass us). An Iowa loss would put both of those teams at 4 losses and we still only have 3

we beat Wisky and have a chance for another one...they are hanging around Q1/Q2 border so actually I would prefer they beat Iowa

WTF is Iowa doing? The game clock was at 12, shot clock at like 6. They intentionally foul... had one to give but that resets the shot clock so you don't get a possession.

Wisconsin inbounds it and Iowa commits a dumb foul to put them on the line.

Well the scoring has picked up. Halftime score, Wisconsin and Iowa tied up at 30.

Wait what? Fran Mac. Alerts the refs he's trying to or going to foul. ? So how the heck is the next foul on Iowa not considered intentional? How do they selectively enforce the rules of the game? Its one thing to do it. But to tell the refs in advance?

I dont expect it to last but seeing Garza go 3-8 in the half and the team 1-11 from behind the arc, many of those wide open looks, is pretty annoying. We would've rolled them if they shot like this last week. They may have assumed the W with Wisconsin shorthanded, and we got the A game effort after we blew them out last season.

Did the announcers say that’s what Fran did? If true that should not be allowed. It’s asking the refs to aid in your strategy. What if the foul is not warranted or not executed properly? Seems like there should be a rule against a head coach telling the refs he’s gonna have his team foul in advance.

They did.referenced what happened our game as to why he did it.

It's not that uncommon. There's a difference between an "intentional" regular foul to stop the clock and/or put the other team on the line, like a reach-in, and a formal "intentional" foul (now called a flagrant foul), which is a foul using excessive force. As per the NCAA rules, "This offense includes the former "intentional foul" of fouling an opposing player to prevent an easy breakaway score."
