Godzilla: King of the Monsters [SPOILERS]

Anybody else see it yet? Thoughts?

I personally think that most of the scenes that don't feature the kaiju range from meh to silly, but the monster scenes (and the great soundtrack and all of the callbacks to the older Godzilla movies) make up for that. I just wish there had been more of the supporting kaiju, especially Mothra (who I hope manages to regenerate in time for Godzilla vs. King Kong, since I think she was underused).

I'm also hoping that the post-credit scene's hinting at Mecha-Gidorah.

I liked it, my 16 year old absolutely loved it. I'm a Godzilla fan from way back though...way more into giant monster movies than anything from the Marvel Universe.

It was a fun summer movie. Love the soundtrack and the Serj Tankian remake.
