Anybody following this series on HLN? This was a guy who is accused of raping 45 women and killing 12 people in CA in the late 70s-early 80s. While watching I just discovered that I lived just across the street from where he killed two victims. This was in Ventura, CA in March 1980. It was regarded as a business dealings killing at the time. I was even questioned by the police at the time to see if i had seen or heard anything. I hadn't. The killings were only linked to the Golden State Killer in recent years.

The spooky part is that they were random killings and I lived just across the street. The killings occurred in the second house to the left across the street from the church. I lived in the first house where the cars in the lot are pointing toward.

The killings stopped in 1986 and they have no clue who he was. They have his DNA but have never found a match.

This sounds fascinating! I'll have to check it out.

It must be surreal to have been so close to the scene.

It's a well-established fact that arsonists like to blend in the crowd and watch the building they set fire to burn and that killers enjoy watching the crime scenes of their victims being investigated. Similarly, sociopaths nowadays enjoy taunting law enforcement by posting about their crimes on message boards while acting like they're merely interested in the story.

Is there something you want to get off your chest, OP?

I keep telling you people. I was cleared by the police and I ain't do nuttin'. He wears size 9 sneakers and I wear 10 1/2. And if the shoes don't fit you must acquit! My heavy southern drawl would have given me away for sure.

I've downloaded the first three episodes.

They are on demand for those of you who want to watch the show.
