I’m coming to love that man. I was one of his biggest critics but man he’s proved me wrong. Not just working himself in the rotation for next year but he’s looking pretty good for the rest of the year

Man he’s really proven useful. Remember when he couldn’t make a layup? I’m so glad coach k has continued to give him play time.

I have to give Goldwire credit. His defense tonight was amazing, and his opportunistic layup at the end of the game was huge.

I've hated on Goldwire because he has virtually no offensive ability to speak of. But the kid can really play defense. Nice to have a defensive specialist available off the bench when the situation calls for it.

Great game by Jordan! Played like he totally belonged in that kind of game. Could not believe K didn't take him out at the end, up one with the ball and him hobbling. If it was a lack of timeouts issue and refs wouldn't stop the game, he should have hit the deck.

It’s J-Gold, guys. At least that’s what K called him over and over in his presser.

Is JGold acceptable? I don’t want to hit the symbol icon on my keyboard to discuss him.

Loved what he and Tony gave us. Goldwire played so much his body shut down. Love that kid.

Maybe that blown layup against Louisville snapped something in his brain. He’s been a legit player since then.

Credit to K for playing a lineup in a game of this magnitude that had literally never played together before. And big credit to Vrank and Goldwire for rising to the occasion.

So maybe he develops players after all?...

What’s cool about him is that he doesn’t do anything outside of himself. He stays within his talents. We have had guys before that are really good defensively but do a lot of careless things offensively. He doesn’t.
Also side note: really cool to see Zion pass up open threes when he knows it’s not a good shot or the right times. Very mature.

Vrank and Goldwire need to play a lot tonight and just play D, set picks, keep FSU off boards. Let other guys shoot.

Vrank played some inspired ball last night. The only thing with him, and I’m guessing it’s why he hasn’t played much for regular minutes in his career, is that he’s a pretty stationary rebounder. What I mean by that is, unless it comes into his arms, he’s not going to be able get to it. But even still, he proved capable last night of being able to contribute in that somewhat limited role. We probably haven’t seen the last of him.

I love Goldwire. Kid wasn’t expected to do much coming out of high school. Every team needs a Jordan Goldwire and we do! I remember him hitting a big 3 against MSU last year as well.

You would think we would really suffer offensively with Goldwire but he’s always moving and he never keeps the ball more than a second. When the play off of him he does a slight penetration and kick that gets the defense moving. I’m so glad he can come in and spell Tre minutes if need be

So happy for this young man. He must have gained 20 pounds of muscle since enrolling. He's becoming more confident. If his shot becomes serviceable he'll be a heck of a player. He already is an elite defender. This guy has earned minutes next year.

Goldwire is an excellent athlete... not explosive necessarily, but he has great feet and agility. He moves and slides with ease. His ability to get into Cam Johnson's chest on the catch is what saved us. Roy didn't try to get him on the block until it was too late. I really like Jordan going forward. He was even cutting on offense without the ball.

Vrank was doing exactly what we needed him to do. Why UNC didnt get him in space on a switch, I don't know... but I'll take it.

That cut to the hoop and feed from Vrank was huge!! At a point in the game when we really needed a basket and was such a lift to get it from those 2 guys. Huge lift for us and demoralizing for UNC.
