All Bob cares about is logging 1-2 BOMBS!!!! so he can talk about them. Sounds like he can already do that just fine.

Golf lessons will be a waste of money. They're designed to teach you how to play Golf.

Sounds like you need to work on that wedge game. I hear they offer pretty good lessons down here at Dale Hollow. You should bring that Doctor money to the southern boarder

If I break 100, its a good day.

Would say most inconsistent part of my game is off the tee and irons. Chip and putting not too bad.

I think to get good to decent you need to golf or practice 3 times a week consistently. Whether it's playing three times, playing twice and one practice session, two practice sessions and one round, if you can consistently get out 3 times a week that's when you will see improvement. Consistency is key. The off and on part will get you nowhere. The problem for most people is finding the time to do that and not getting discouraged while doing so.

We will get together this year for a few rounds if you want.

Why don't you just wear plaid pants, a pastel colored polo, join a private club and then just look down on minorities and poor people instead? It will probably be cheaper than going all in with the golf thing.

Kidding. Sort of.

Was hoping the good Dr was going to be giving lessons. Just can't smash it off the tee 300 yards on the reg. Only thing my game is missing tbh.

drxman1 I agree with going to man o war and having Curtis help you. He helps me out and he's really good. The lady out there, Tennye Ohr is also great. Does a good job of explaining things and helping you gain instant results.

Don't forget that at golf exchange whatever is spent on the club fitting should be taken off a purchase.

Anybody taken lessons from Brad out there a MOW? Noticed that about golf exchange too. They will wave the whole fitting fee, but MOW just gives a discount if you buy clubs.

In Southern Kentucky, contact Carmelo Benassi at Barren River State Park. Great teacher.I think he is still there.

Not sure who I took a lesson from out at MOW, but even just the one lesson really helped my game. Highly recommend.

Just drink a few beers, rear back and knock the ever loving piss out of it
Might not go far or where you want it to go, but you'll feel better by taking a cavalier WTF approach

If you don't keep your head down, if you don't keep your left wrist flat, and if you don't turn your hips at impact, nothing will help you.

Golf is simple if you do these three things.

Free lesson.

I've gone 342 before, but very inconsistent. Like maybe 3 good drives per round.
first thing i'd recommend is learning the difference between ...yards and feet....
sorry.... not buying the 342 yards... 2-3 times a round... but that's okay... i enjoy reading a golf thread as it always produces great fiction.....

drxman1 shows no mercy to the golf ball. I've found on average most people overestimate their average drive.

If it's the same Brad that was there in 2008-ish, then yes. He helped me a lot, particularly with putting.

Believe Brad is voted one of the best in the state every year. His prices reflect that and is probably more suited for better players although I've actually had 1 lesson with him and he's a great dude. For a hack you can probably get more lessons from a less expensive coach.

After that 1 lesson I switched to another guy that was $40 cheaper per lesson.
