I have tried to watch LIV tournaments, but on top of horrible golf, the terrible looking team "uniforms" absolutely turns me away. Just stupid, even more stupid is when they wear them in other events outside of LIV. Just dumb idea and dumber looking. Especially the red get up Sergio and his "teammates" wear. Just NO.

Team golf only makes sense in a select few events, e.g. Ryder and to a lesser extent Solheim and Presidents Cup. I think the LIV team concept is trying to pound a square peg into a round hole, just don't see any interest in it (or audience for it) at all.

Well, LIV looks like it's going to sign Si Woo Kim. At least he's world top one hundred and a decent PGA resume although only had three top tens this year.

Did notch a T8 at the PGA this year, but . . . that was his only top ten finish ever at a major championship

Now that is a quality player they have signed. 30 years old. OWGR 28, which means he gets into all the majors I believe. So, he has a year to play his but off to continue qualifying for majors. He was 35th in earnings which was still more than the 35th on LIV, and that includes team money.

He did not qualify for the Masters last year which I found surprising because he had made the cut seven or eight straight times at Augusta

Where did you hear that?

Edit: Never mind I just saw it myself. That is pretty funny actually

The LIV rumors will be like throwing sh*t on the wall to see how much sticks. Just in the past month or so, there have been stories about Bryson, DJ, Brooks, and now the Korean angle.

With Top Golf struggling, I wonder if this will be another flash in the pan.
Depends on the cost which is why TopGolf failed. The first time I went to TopGolf and saw their prices I knew it would fail. To me, simulators is where golf is going (outside playing/hitting on a regular course or range). It's becoming very affordable and the technology has gotten really good with next generation software being developed that makes you feel like you are playing on a real course. That being said, have read a few articles saying too many simulator businesses are popping up which will eventually oversaturate the market.

I like to use a simulator every now and then to practice and especially check club path and attack angle

Have been to Top Golf once and didn't seem like it was something I would do very often

He never recovered from the poor decision/ tee shot that cost him the PGA Championship
Actually, he never recovered from jumping to LIV, where his game went straight into the crapper. I followed him a bit on the PGA tour, because he finished 3rd at the Barbasol one year (IIRC), then almost won the PGA which would have been a huge upset. Now he is heading back home to who knows what.

Koepka to LIV: "He gone"

Eligible to return to PGA tour in August, and meanwhile will also play all four majors

Tiger somehow made it to 50, despite being beaten by a golf club, banging Perkins waitresses, passed out in the middle of a highway, and crashing his SUV down a mountain while higher than a kite.

And Keith Richards is now 82, despite every bad life habit a human being can participate in. Only thing wrong with him at the moment is arthritis, which caused the Stones to cancel their 2026 European tour.

Go figure

Maybe crazy talk but I still think the dude has one more run left in him on the Champions Tour even though his body is probably more like a 65+ year old now yet he'll still crank ball speeds 175+ when he wants to.

He only needs 10 more Majors to tie Jack’s 26 between the PGA Tour and the Champions.

Remember when Phil dominated his first few starts? It’s possible. More a short game issue for Tiger. If he keeps it in play, will his touch have abandoned him?

Tiger’s hands have never been an issue. Comes down to if his body will allow him to put in the practice time to get his short game back in order. Having back issues myself, I now understand how hard it is to put in the time on the chipping and putting greens for an extended period of time. The guys on the Champions Tour are too good for Tiger to just show up and win. He is going to have to put in a lot of practice time to be able to beat these guys.

Phil was still in top shape when he turned fifty. He won the PGA when he was 51 and finished T2 at the Masters just recently
