Big game tonight on SECN.
Not what I opened this thread for, but good article on the women’s basketball team. They are killing it
I think I heard that her name was Tameka Catchings (sp.?) She is so monotone.Am I the only one who is struggling to listen to this game? I can’t handle the voice of whoever this female commentator is. She hurts my ears
Excellent rebounder but does need to be stronger. She’s just a sophomore so will get a lot better.I love Strack but she has be stronger with the ball.
They are very good. Maybe not in UConn’s or So. Carolina’s league yet but definitely competitive and fun to watch.Good win. If they win on Sunday then they should be top 10 next week.

Brooks has convinced Tyler to be their dog on defense. Adds a lot to the team with a player that plays in your face defense every second. The reason she is getting to play more. Tyler gives us something we did not have. So the quality depth is a little better now with her playing this role.
Oklahoma has that monster 5 to deal with. Will be a great game to watch with the bigs we have and how their monster 5 does against taller players than what she is used to.
She is still developing and not quite ready for SEC play.Haven't kept up with the women much, but I noticed in the box score that Fr Lexi Blue did not play...has something happened w/her? I just know she was a pretty highly touted freshman, and she played a good bit early in the season. Is she hurt, or is she still developing and not quite ready yet for SEC play?

Yes and they stay the 4 years in women's basketball so she still has all the time to develop if the transfer portal doesn't become enticing because you still have that to worry about across the board.Makes sense... after so many years of one and done for men's basketball, I forget that growth/development still happens in college basketball.
It still amazes me that Kentucky signed a player named Lexi Blue. There has never been a more perfect name for a Kentucky player.Haven't kept up with the women much, but I noticed in the box score that Fr Lexi Blue did not play...has something happened w/her? Yes, she speaks really well considering. Her Dad Harvey played in the NBA with the Sixers and Dr. J. Tamika Catchings may be the best high school athlete, in terms of awards won, in the Dallas/Fort Worth area over the last 30 years.I didn’t watch the broadcast but if it was Tamika Catchings, she is deaf. That’s probably why her voice sounds different.
