17 points is not going to win too many games in Conference. Instead of going for the jugular, Brown played not to lose in those last three series.

The days of running up the score and high powered offense are over at WVU, at least for now. You're right though, 17 points wont go far in the B12 from what we know. We have some damn good players emerging though and that is a good thing. If we keep improving week to week, this team should at least make a bowl. TT should be an easy win. Still hard to gauge this team with Pitt being so bad this year. Their QB is utterly pathetic. He deserves a thank you card for last night.

I’m not sure TT will be an easy win. I hope you’re right.

I think Nicco will be fine. That was a tough situation to come into and he didn’t make any huge mistakes. I think we only get better.

We need to continue focusing on the run game and mixing up the calls. Add some Jet sweeps.

the newest propaganda twist if WVU starts winning games...we are only successful because every team we defeat is terrible..brought to you by the same type of morons who claim that the economy is thriving.

Other than Texas and Oklahoma, there has not been too much high powered offense going on in the Big 12. So this is a silly statement. Also, WV played the majority of the game with the back up QB. The Defense held them out of the endzone. That’s a big deal.

ok Bagdad Bob..just how disappointed were you that we won?..now go sit in the corner, suck your thumb, and shut your mouth
I wasn't disappointed. I've been predicting a win against Pitt the whole time. You have realize that someone can love a team and cheer them on but still be critical of them, at the same exact time. If you dont realize thst, it's not my fault. Getting offended only hurts you. Why stress so much over other people's opinions about sports? You are the biggest name caller on this board, yet you are the one trying to get others banned for disagreeing with you. My advice is to let it go. It's all good man...

We shall see. The bottom line is wvu biggest weakness is pass coverage, and we are about to see a lot of passing. Whether it works or not, b12 teams will spread us out and air it out. They will try to run up the score. If they can put up 60 they will. Hoping our secondary really improves throughout the year. Let's revisit your post after a few more weeks.

Yeah I saw it. I also saw the worst QB we will see all season and one of the worst in all of football. So we will see. I hope it was because our defense is getting better, but their QB was amazingly bad. Even his footwork dropping back was terrible. It is going to take more than one ugly win to convince me that our secondary is really truly improving. The last 4 years has been the worst wvu football since I was too young to know better. It will take most fans a bit more than what we saw last night....

What really impressed me last night the most was our run defense. They let Pitt March right down the field and then made a very impressive goal line stand and forced a fg. After that they locked down on Pitt pretty good and controlled the Los. It was nice to see and my personal favorite part of the win, followed by CJ.

Pitts QB was awful. Do they not have another option?

Texas Tech will do what Pitt couldn't. Attack the secondary with deep passes. WVU better be ready. WVU front 7 will shutdown Tech run game but like PSU game secondary will be challenged.

But Pitt WAS terrible. You cannot deny this. They are. bad. Their QB is the worst Power 5 QB starting currently. I have no doubt about that.

The front 7 is becoming my favorite part of the team. They look legit.

Only 2 teams in Big 12 could put 60 on WVU and that's Texas and OU. We don't play Texas.

I can't argue thst. My point was that no one in our conference will slow down. They will score as many points as they can even if they have a big lead. They don't care if it's 60-3, if they can score a other they will. It's full throttle

Only 1 team left on the schedule that can put up 60 on WVU if they want to and that's OU.

When you only give up 6 points you're not going to lose that many games either. The days of video games offenses in the big 12 have been over for years. There's a lot more Pitts remaining on Wvu's schedule than there are Penn States.

Dana went 8-5, 10-3, 7-6 and 8-5 his last 4 years and fans were happy to see him go. His expectations would've been 9 or 10 in a season like this. For Neal I guess we are expected to lower our expectations pretty far in comparison
Then go cheer for Houston. Holgorsen average coach.

I hope no one expresses how much they enjoy a WVU victory, because like magic some idiot will materialize out of thin air to throw shade on the good vibes

Never once in this forum have i attacked someone for expressing how much they enjoy a victory. You an Allen are just sore losers because you have bad points and act out over it when someone presents facts

What would his expectations have been based on his 1st four years nice job of moving the goal posts

WVU is going to beat the wheels off of Dana Holgorsen
Wvu is going to beat Houston hands down. Dana is a average coach. When Dana took over WVU he took over a great football program with the rich history. Far Cry from houston. An average coach isn't going to do squat at houston. WVU made Dana look better than he is because WVU is awesome. This is why we deserve better than Neil Brown in my opinion. He is the worst we have ever had.
