Always liked him. Obviously didn't pan out for us at this level but the guy had a nasty streak that we don't often have on squad and gave it all everytime he was out there.
I see that and expect the King and The Superstar to come out (that’s Jerry Lawler and Bill Dundee for those who don’t know)

My Dad still thinks Ware is on the team. He calls Carr/Ware every game. Lol
Seemed like a good dude, played hard when he was on the floor, happy for him.
Wasn’t always the wisest player. But always played hard. Would go get you boards, and grt in someone’s face if need be. Always liked him and glad to see him get some accolades.
A little over his skis here but always played hard. Happy to see him succeed.
Led his team with 14 points, 10 board, 1 and half steals and blocks per game.

Some of the best times ever was this right here. I even made it to the Mid-South Coliseum on a Monday night in 1983. Saw Randy Savage and Tojo Yamato at the old Horse Cave high school and Koko Ware and Lanny Poffo at Memorial Elementary. Both of the latter in Hart County. That was when the big stars still came to rural sites. Great times.

Lance already had two fouls on him from the warmups and picked up his 3rd at the scorer's table as he checked into the game for the first time, but I never saw him give anything less than 100% when he was on the floor. Seemed like a good teammate too.
Yes! I used to go down in my little town to an old theater they converted into a wrestling ring and watch when I was a kid. It was like $5 to get in and they would sign autographs and sell their merch after the match. Good times. I still have an old junk yard dog autographed picture I got one time.

He wasn’t a threat offensively but he would give it his all to back up minutes. Every team needs a guy like him.
Giving his all is one thing, being good at giving his all is another. He wasn’t good at anything but flexing and acting like a tough guy.

He wasn't incredible but he had some really solid performances for us in a back up role. To say he wasn't good at all is something. SEC reserve caliber? No, not really, but he did play some positive minutes. Gotta consider the coach too.
