But you did elude to Vandy being on the same level as IU. See the quoted post above.

Look, I think you're thinking I'm being an *** to you, but I'm not, we're just having a conversation. You're a great poster, seen you on here for many years. I wasn't intending on having a disagreement. I was complimenting your coach and you kind of shut me down by basically saying 'yeah, thanks for being sincere, but no thanks… '. I meant what I said, I hope Vandy keeps him

I may not have explained it well but I don’t think VU > IU or even equal to IU, but I do think our program is capable of being a top tier program. We’ve had stretches where we were very good and that was prior to an era where the playing field was level.

WE CAN PAY PLAYERS TOO NOW.

IU has paid players my whole life, we haven’t, that’s a big deal. Being an SEC member now means a lot more than it use to, we got 53 million this year.

The only major difference in the two programs is that Indiana is a big state school and Vandy isn’t BUT, if Byington gets it rolling, our gym is as good as any in the country and we will fill it up.

IU won’t pay a coach more than Vandy will and IU damn sure won’t have more NIL money to pay players than we do.

So they have more banners and more fans, they are a former Blue Blood, but 38 years is a long time and not many consider them a premier program anymore.

If Mark Byington leaves Vandy, it won’t be for money, that’s all I’m saying.

Can't disagree with any of that.

I know eventually the SEC will come back down to earth, but right now, every program in the SEC is legit and they all have what they need to get the players they want. They also all have damn good coaches.

This league is going to be fire for many, many years, just need to win more NCAA titles.

In the fact you're one? Not really. You come up with terms like "soft fans" who don't come up with crazy expectations like you. You expect excellence from your team , but you can't move your fatass from the couch to the kitchen without heavy breathing.
I don’t think I’ve ever used the term “soft fans”. You have me mixed up with another poster, bud. Also, your cringey comment is just another ad hominem attack. Expected type of thing from you. Quit worrying about basketball if you don’t like basketball fans. Nobody bothering you over there on the football thread.

It was Digger. Sorry quoted the wrong guy. I like our team. I just don't like Rafters because it's a cess pool
