late Q3 & it's been a stalemate quarter; still 21-14. Steers have no run game to sustain drives but their pass rush will be tough (of course) next week. Ehlinger just threw up a pick ! to set up WV on the whorn 15 yard line. WV can't punch it in and settles for a FG. 21-17

Apparently SE is tired of throwing and now they have a few first downs running but are still on their side of midfield to end the qtr

1st play of Q4 was incomplete pass on 3rd down, WV has a long field and on 3rd and 1 Kendall is picked off on a crazy play. Now steers have the short field in the red zone
SE hands off to a WR on like a jet sweep play and he ran in from about 13 yards out. 28-17 dammit

I believe I recall hearing one of the announcers state that "SE has at least one cracked rib" but I could be in error (as can the talking heads)...

OSU and Texas looked horrible this week. Hope this is that first sign that all of the hoopla surrounding these teams has been crap... Including LSU and Auburn.

When their only RB went out, would have thought they lost a Heisman candidate, listening to the commentators.
When he returned, he had 5 carries for 9 yards. Two plays later, he was 7 plays for 10 yards. Outside of Ehlinger, they do not have a run game.
Ingram ended the game 11 rushes for 18 yards.
Their backup QB (playing RB) Johnson had 121 yards.
