Good Post World War II documentary?

I've been following the Twitter account RealTimeWWII for the last several years and it's been fascinating. Lots of stories of events that I did not know about.

Anyone know of a good documentary or series about Post WWII?

It's not a documentary or series but a damn good movie about post-WWII (won Best Picture I believe) is 'The Best Years of Our Lives'. Arguably one of the best movies ever made.

Hits pretty hard on veteran issues immediately following the conflict, something that was largely avoided in the years and decades following 1945.
