Excellent win on the road. But I am still a little concerned about all of the little mistakes Simmons makes. It’s the details that matter. Dropping key passes. Cutting routes off short when the QB expects you to be somewhere else.

I didn't care if we won our first game this year 3-2. Yeah style points would be nice and there will be frustration stretches but any win this year no matter what it looks like, heck even by forfeit, is a beautiful win and a building block

I think the game plan for Kansas was exactly what we saw yesterday. Keep their offense off the field and don’t give their backs a chance to win the game late by wearing down our defense.

It was Kansas, so it is hard to get too excited, but it is clearly a better Kansas than we have seen in the past.
