That half surprised me.Down 27-0 with 1:37 left in the half.
Offense continues as run, run, run up the middle. Defense stops nothing.
Nothing has changed from previous years.
Wait
Nice player but no.Is Ty Gavin the best player in the ESCC?? Does he have any offers? Worried what he will do next Saturday against the Shamrocks.
He's a nice player but don't think he'll pay at the d1 level at rb. Most likely an ISU type of kid who will play safety. Is Ty Gavin the best player in the ESCC?? Does he have any offers? Worried what he will do next Saturday against the Shamrocks.
TalkedThe program once known as the almighty JCA is nearing dead. I hate to say it. It saddens me really.
Would have never believed that this could happen at JCA. Starting to really doubt all of the hype about next year being the year as well...Until they get an identity on the defensive side of the football, I think this is going to continueDown 27-0 with 1:37 left in the half.

Wait 'til next year!!
Yeah, I would say expectations should, at a minimum, be tempered for next year.Talked

Paraphrasing Mark Twain, "The news of JCA's near death are greatly exaggerated"
I think the ship can be turned around. The program has too much history and JCA's recent decline is likely a bump in the road. If JCA gets lucky and a few kids choose JCA rather than attend the competition, they well may be back sooner than we think.
Certainly hope you are right. For some reason Illinois High School Football is better in my opinion when the Hill is relevant.Paraphrasing Mark Twain, "The news of JCA's near death are greatly exaggerated"

Two more rosters to fill than 15 years ago. I wonder if Joliet West re-emerging as a separate program from Central took some players too. There are some playersat the plainfield schools that definitely used to be kids that JCA would get. Seem to be slipping through the cracks now.
And the two best opportunities for Viator's to finally beat the Hilltoppers - this year and last - and they're not on the schedule.
