Herd he left early is already at UNC

I read that on a UNC site, and he wasn't in the box score for the East Surry basketball game from last night.

We heard during the Reidsville game in late Sept...that he was going to college after 1st of year......Was this a surprise to E.S. fans?? good luck to him...special player....wish he had stayed with original commit to NC State....................

I had read in the fall that he planned to early enroll at State, back when he was committed there. But I thought it might have changed when he switched his commitment since he had been playing basketball for East Surry.

He is at Carolina, he enrolled early. This was no surprise to anyone around East Surry.

Yeah it was the best thing to do.. to stay and play basketball would risk injuring him when he didn't need to be and it would just waste his time. He's smartly in Chapel Hill now lifting, going to class, and getting used to everything.. at least I hope so lol.

UNC was saving the Early Entry spot for Trenton Simpson. When Clemson offered and Simpson committed there, it opened the spot back up for Gosnell to enroll at UNC in January. We are thrilled to have the young man in Chapel Hill!!

Donavan Greene enrolled early at WF and it was best thing he could have done. Gosnell will do awesome.
