Couple of TD attempts by both, but nothing half through first.

Gilman with a late TD. 2-0 after 1.

Stall on EK, BS call. 4-0 TG

Gilman is a punk. Should have been called.

7-1 after 2, late leg pass by GWH saved the TD.

8-2 final! Whew. Near TD at end. Nice fight by GWH. 7-0 iowa, where we expected to be.

I'm actually hoping he's sick or something. I've never seen anything like that before, I would have hit him with a final stalling call.

He is just not pulling weight correctly. We need to see Blees or Smith. Just do not think that Chance is a 157 pounder.

Pulling too much weight will do that to you. He clearly looked superior when he had any gas at all.

When I say cutting too much, I mean for him, in whatever way he's doing it, to allow him to have any energy. If he was skilled at cutting and could do it while retaining fitness, then it wouldn't be too much. He obviously had a cutting problem. The bright side is he looked good when he had even the slightest amount of energy.

Crutchmer is running out of gas. He got a six point move to start the match and just shut it down.
Tied 8-8 going into the third period. Crutchmer is going down in the third period.

Whew!!! Great win. If he's coming off an infection as mentioned earlier that was a gutsy performance.

Crutchmer gets a late takedown to get the win. Crutchmer can just gut out a move when he is dead tired. I have no idea if he had a staff infection this week or not, but he is so much stronger than anyone at 174.

Wow. Wish I could say that's the first time I've been disappointed in J. Rodgers....kid has so many skills, but just seems to stop wrestling at times. Tough to watch.
