Gothic uniforms tomorrow

This is at least the second time this season, right?
I wonder why the football team didn't don them this season.
What is the deal with the Gothic unis? Do the players like them? I don't. IMHO, we should don ourselves with our purple(mostly) -with black and white trim. They look a lot sharper and provoke more school pride/enthusiasm/spirit. Have we won more games when wearing the Gothic uniforms? Did we wear them when we beat UW/OSU this year?? It seems like a school like UChicago would wear the gothic themed unis. Sorry. That's just my opinion. Ultimately though, it should be up to the players- whatever makes them happy and more prone to play well.
You've answered your own question. It's not you who has to like them, it's the current players and potential recruits that matter.
I like them. Not as our primary unis but definitely a fun alternate.
The last time the football team wore them they blanked Minnesota.
The basketball team wore them earlier this season when they beat Dayton.
They look awesome in my opinion but everyone is entitled to their opinion. I have heard only good reviews on those uniforms until I visited the board if that helps show why they wear them.
I have no idea about the basketball ones but I have one the football gothic jerseys. I know you can get that off the northwestern website. After a quick look I don't see any gothic men's basketball jerseys on the website.
Let's Tailgate probably has them. Know they have the FB jerseys and t shirts and sweatdhirts that they even sell at WR
I generally don't care for the special theme uni's in either sport but I like the Gothic ones because they do represent the look of the NU campus there fore NU. I think the BB Gothic Uniforms look especially good.
