The two DL sure saved Gibby's arse this year. Until we landed them the DL was an injury away from a dumpster fire with only 9 schollie players that included 3 incoming FR. Feel much better now but we are still not out of the woods.
I think we can find 4-5 that can play and hold it down. Those 2 extra grad transfers covered up a issue. I’m not saying they will be hit recruits but I think at least 1 turns out good. I think one of the true freshmen will come in and impact especially Dante Stills.
The 2 grad transfers also help us cause you know there will be injuries at some point. Need bodies.
Also I would be surprised if James Gmiter out of Bethel Park, PA doesn’t get some snaps as a true freshmen. He’s a big, strong dude already and played great at a high level in Pittsburgh area. He’s a Chris Neild type. Mean, tough, nasty, smart with massive size, strength already. Comes from good high school program and coaching.
Also maybe a Tyrese Allen from Kentucky may surprise from day 1. I bet somebody steps up and is a steal recruit.

It will be sometime until we are out of the woods. Can't keep getting transfers all the time although it is a plus with experience. We need to get some freshman to get some depth. Start getting 3 to 4 recruits a year on the DL with 3 or so transfers and you get depth.
EDIT: don't lose any. (which I know always happens)
Recently, coach Holgs stated that many more athletes are transferring nowadays. If this is the state of affairs for college football, I'm glad we're able to attract some of these higher caliber athletes to help round out our Top 10 team (I hope).
