I pretty much only watched one awards show (the MTV movie awards) because they actually had amusing skits between the awards that were entertaining. When I stopped watching MTV (probably over 25 years ago) that pretty much eliminated that one. Plus with some awards shows I don't even know or care about who they chose so it takes away interest. I rarely agree with the movie award winners and I barely listen to much of the modern music anymore so they are pointless.
