Angry Grandpa is a character, those bits have been staged for years. His son (KidBehindACamera) films them and makes tons of money from youtube off the views.

Yeah I don't know how they calculate youtube money. Maybe it's the average range since he wasn't making much to begin with? They've been making videos since 2007.
His main channel (he has several, including Angry Grandpa) got over 25 million views within the last 30 days. He's known as one the the bigger "youtubers" out there.

Yeah, I've never understood how something like this happens. Who the hell watches that and how do advertisers just give this douche that much money for doing absolutely nothing?
My wife watches 2 couples that make all their income on their youtube channel. Pathetic.
IMO it would be pretty impossible to be given a team at the age of 50 and become such a huge fan of something you didn't grow up with that most people would know it was fake. No way you can become a true die hard unless it's something that was instilled with you from a really young age.
