Anyone have any information on the Grant coaching search? Heard they were done with applicants a while ago?

They are dragging their feet on this. It's been over a month. That school hasn't quite figured out how to handle the hiring process. Many at Grant are frustrated and embarrassed.
They have three finalists one a former coach there. Should have this ironed out by February board meeting.
Well they have one each month and they hadn't finalized the new coach in time for last night. I'm sure it will be done by then.
Heard they stayed in house on the hire. Missed the boat on the guy that used to be at Round Lake. Heard great things about him when he was at round lake. Increased #'s and had people excited there. Just my humble opinion.
The other finalist was their previous head coach, Kurt Ros. He was pretty successful there. Well....good luck to the new young guy. If he gets it going...they should compete with Antioch, Lakes and Grayslake North for the conference immediately.
Think they should've gone with the Round Lake guy. If you can get kids excited at Round Lake? You've got something.

Well TonPlugZeroLock sounds like you're his agent. Don't worry.....sounds like he will be fine.
I just know what kind of program Round Lake is, and I stumbled upon a game of there's and they were in it till the end. Guy had them inspired. Had me inspired!!
