Not a better fit for that position. Grant has always been my favorite Dukie. Man I loved watching him play. So smooth and easy and was so close to carrying a team on his back to win a natty his Sr year was astounding.

He would do well there. Guys like Jay, Shane and Grant are more than just athletes. They would be succesful in anything they decided to do. There has been talk of a NCAA commissioner or czar from time to time. All three of these guys would be a good fit. They all are intelligent in many ways but they have integrity and common sense. Yes I know Jay isn't popular among a lot of this board but he is fantastic at his job. He would be total non bias in making decisions and that would be a must if this type of job was created. We will never see it though. OFC
