Correct you are. Forget Laetner & Hurley, it was all Bryan Davis, Thomas Hill, Antonio Langham, & Cherokee Parks following Grant Hill's lead.

Heck Grant Hill even through the pass that bounced off Laetner's hands to beat UK in Philly in 93 with 2.1 left on the clock.

One of the most overrated basketball players ever.

Coming from a Phoenix Suns fan.

He had the potential to be an all time great but he couldn't play if he had a paper cut so he never reached that potential

He was really really good at taking teams money and giving nothing in return though.

lol - Not a fan of Laettner, but that guy could ball. They don't even make the Final Four in '92 without him. In that UK game where he hit the game winning shot - he was 10-10 from the field & 10-10 from the line. Grant Hill was the sidekick on that team.

1992 Duke vs. UK

Bobby Hurley 6-12 5-6 22 pts.

I think he would have been a great pro if not for the bad knees. I read that Hill grew up playing on a concrete court in his back yard. And, like sun damage, the effects showed up in his mid twenties.

He certainly was the most "talented" player on those Duke teams and they would not have beaten UNLV without his athleticism.

As for thread critics....I'm sure some of you (Keaton) were still in diapers in those early 90s.
