Duals usually last about 2 hours, but depends on OTs and whether they take an intermission half way through. Should be over in the 1-1:30pm range.

Or go hit any of the sports bars down town....Sports Column, Field House, etc. There is a BWW's downtown too.
Iowa City is a good 2+ hour drive to Ames, so very unlikely that you'd make it there in time for kick off.
