Delish. Comes with a little plastic goat necklace.

I've had it since then. Freaking amazing.

Also, relatively recently I went through a variety pack from Unibroue brewery. Great across the board. Of course their headliner is "La Fin Du Monde," which is stunning. And I'm searching for "A tout la monde," which is a special edition tripel collaboration between Unibroue and Dave Mustaine from Megadeth.....but Lexington just hasn't brought it in yet.

We got it down here. But I won't buy it because it only has 4.5% abv. I was kinda shocked a Megadeth beer would be that weak. It should be about 15%

I like La Fin Du Monde. It's what started my transition to the higher abv beers.

La Fin Du Monde rocks.

I drank Dead Guy last night. Surprisingly good, but not a go-to.

If you're in Louisville, just skip the rest of the breweries here and go directly to Monnik Beer Company. Its the Louisville location of The Beer Engine from Danville, and IMO, it is the best in the city and they keep destroying every one of my "I hate this kind of beer" stereotypes.
. .
Visited Monnik tonight. I drank Mild George, which is only 4.2 %, but wonderful in the 20 oz glass. Only had one beer because I drove. Great experience. Thanks!

Got a Weyerbacher Blithering Idiot

11% Barleywine. Nice flavor. Man, Barleywines have such an awesome distinct taste.

Here's how it goes for me

1a. Imperial stouts
1b. Barleywines
2 Triple Ipas
3. Belgian trips/quads
4.Dipas
5. Imperial everything else (porters, pils, etc)

Just a quick short list.

Today...

Stone Enjoy by 12-25-2016...awesome but dangerous at 9.4%. Highly recommend.

Great Lakes Christmas Ale...terrific as always.

They had some Dogfish Head World Wide Stout that people were making a big deal about in the store earlier this week, but I didn't snag any.

Picked up a 4 pack of 16oz cans of Evile Twin brewing's Even More Jesus. Imperial stout 12%. Nothing to screw around with lol. It was a very good stout. Not as good as Narwhal which I can't find this year or founders breakfast stout. But very good.

Drank 2 killer beers tonight here on the Kentucky-Tennessee-Virginia border. First up was Dogfish Head World Wide Stout. Kick-***. Had to split it with a relative . Second was Ommegang Three Philosophers. Incredible . Listening to the Ellis Brothers here at a private southern rock jam just for me.

Life is good.

How much was that World wide stout? I saw it the liquor barn in Bowling Green and it was $10 for a 12 oz bottle. I left it there.

I paid $9.99 for a 12 oz bottle of World Wide Stout at Pappy's in Ewing, VA near the Cumberland Gap. Complex and strong. Roasty notes. Truly developed for cellaring. Shared the bottle with my former brother in-law. Honestly, not worth the $10. Perhaps $6-8.

Saint Arnold Bishop's Barrel #16. Difficult to locate outside Texas. Awesome Dubbel. One of the better examples from this American interpretation..

Found some Brooklyn Oktoberfest in the fridge I forgot about and it ranks as my best Oktoberfest. Smooth, with a finish like walnut. Not walnut like from Kroger, but walnut like when I was cracking them for my grandmother on the family farm. Absolutely fantastic memories, so I'm saying that this is perfection for me.

@Willy4UK : Working on my second Saint Arnold Devine Reserve #17. Excellent porter. 9.2% ABV. I'll save one for ya out of the 6'er. Need a couple after this debacle of a loss.

Good deal man. That beer you gave me was effing spectacular. I just finished the belco and english. Excellent. What is the names of those so I can add them to Untappd?

Yeah, definitely top 5 for me too. Obviously gotta be careful with them though, as they are damn smooth and very potent.

I got all of mine for $19/sixer. Seems like there were more available this year, or maybe I just got lucky as I tracked the release date and checked multiple stores. Also, last year most places limited you to one sixer, but this year the limit was two, or even a case.
