Hell of a game by Johnson, he's getting better and better. Now if we can just cut the drops out, then we really have something.

He played a great game today and took a major step forward. He made some throws I didn't think he was capable of a week ago. Without a doubt he should be the starter week 1 next season and let his on field play determine the QB situation. His play today reminded me of the Cowboys version of Dak Prescott.

I just didn't think this kid could pass. And it seems that for some time, the coaching staff had doubts that he could complete passes. But the kid can indeed pass! He was so on the money all game today, nailing the deep throws as well as the short throws. And his receivers stepped up today and made some big catches. I am really glad the coaching staff decided to open things up and give Johnson a chance today. If he can consistently do this well in the passing game going forward, along with the ability he has to make plays with his feet, we are going to be really good offensively. Then factor in the bruising run game we have with this group of RBs and OLs and you can see the potential we have to be special.

He is a fighter. But, what makes him better is that the other guys play harder behind him. Not sure Barker ever had or will have that respect.

Great job Johnson and team, he played about as well as he could and picked a fine time to do it. The bad breaks finally stopped today because we won.

Not at all. They signed him for his arm, not legs. Opponents b4 UL knew he could pass & left the run more open - a balanced D approach. Today LV took the opposite approach of stopping run first & he showed his skills.

The guy has a great head on his shoulders. What poise & leadership.
