Another good one:

I say this every year when we play Kentucky in basketball...I now know what other teams feel like when they play Bama in football. Hopefully optimistic, but deep down knowing it would take help from Bama for it to have any chance to win...reality sets in when Bama shows no signs of a letdown, and the ensuing beatdown commences. It really isn't we suck at basketball (well maybe yea we do), it is just how good Kentucky is year on year.

Great find. That's hilarious!

UK played one of its best games today. Crazy thing is, Alabama shot the ball pretty well. But UK was just dominant today! It was a thing of beauty.

A few more:
I shudder to think what will happen when we play in Rupp in 2 weeks. We might not break 35 points. UK is just on another level.Is this what it feels like when teams play us in football? Hoping the other team has an off game and we can just have a chance late in the game but really knowing already what the outcome will be? This UK team is stupid loaded with talent.Do we have to play the 2nd half?LOL at usWe scored 17 boys. Look on the bright side, that's 17 more than we started with!Still impressed at the play calling that led to the early 2-0 run by our guys.OMG!! We have to play Kentucky again later this month?! Glad that first half is over. Now we have them right where we want them.We just getting a feel for them today to pull the shocker in LexingtonYeah, I came into today hoping for a good showing but without any of the anxiety I normally have about a game. I'm not going to be mad at anyone about losing this game. The second to last comment may be the funniest of the entire thread...and there were many good ones.(after the early run by UA and the comeback by UK): I think we just pissed them off!A&M took them to double OT. We took them to the first TV timeout.Announcers keep saying Ky. Has 9 McDonalds all Americans. Then why don't our guys eat at McDonalds more?We have a bunch of Hardee's All-Americans.We eat at Burger King.. Where kids are kingTime to celebrate! We broke 40!lol.. All I hear is go big blue! Go big blue .. are we chanting that?(after the bottle throw): It would've been more symbolic if the fan had thrown a towel. (WINNER!!!)They are talented for sure but they play with a purpose too.

I always root for Alabama in football when they are not playing us...they really have our basketball program to thank for their football program.

Bear Bryant would not have left Kentucky for Alabama if not for Rupp and the focus on basketball.

I go to the Bama game every other year in T town live in south Al, they have beaten us what last 2 times there? Their fans are ALWAYS I mean Always super cool no beating in their chest no name calling more like " dsmn we got lucky" " you guys are king of CBB" they are cool they are just opposite of us in FB lol be easy on them :)

They did do the best special t shirts I've seen, fwiw.

I saw some stuff on twitter where they were salty about Cal saying their players were looking at him funny for coaching hard even at the end. Ok.

I've always thought of Bama as one of the more respectable programs (all-sports) and fanbases in the SEC. That thread does nothing but reinforce that opinion.

None of that BS "UK cheats.....NBA farm team....they pay players.....Cal is a scumbag ...." type crap that you see from fans of UL, UNC, UF, IU, etc, etc. They know where they reside on the basketball totem pole and can laugh at themselves. Seem like good people.
