I'm up and down on Joe Rogan. Sometimes I think he's an a-hole and other times I think he's right on the mark. At least he thinks about things and is articulate though even if he sometimes comes to nutty conclusions. His podcasts are three hours long and often times it involves Rogan listening to guests as they go on and on. Most celebs are too self-important to let anyone talk more than themselves.
I'm liking the longform stuff more and more in general. Now when I watch the cable news I realize just how silly it is to debate a topic when nobody can speak for more than 15 seconds talking at a time. They never get into any kind of depth on those shows.
That said, Rogan has a lot of different kinds of guests on his podcast and whether I watch it depends on how good the guest is. If I watched every single one I'd get tired of Joe Rogan quickly. He often has on his comedian friends or people from Ultimate Fighting, etc and I just skip those.
